Hirschsprung Associated Enterocolitis

Hirschsprung-associated enterocolitis is an infrequent inborn abnormality of the enteric nervous system. Characteristics are the absence of ganglia in both submucosal and myenteric plexuses of the hindgut with a variable proximal extension.
